Restaurant Review: Eating at the BA T5 Lounge (December 2013)

Hot selection Confusing sign Gluten Free Cakes Requested Menus at lounge

So I know that the BA Lounge is not strictly a restaurant but it does offer an extensive selection of hot and cold foods for it’s patrons. They have recognised the needs of passengers with an extensive “Key to Food Allergy and Intolerance”. It is a little confusing as there are so many different little pictures and some items such as the soups, were not labelled. Helpful and informative to understand.

BA have replaced the individually wrapped biscuits with large glass jars and tongs. There is a sign advising to ask for Gluten Free options. The staff returned from the kitchen with two “handmade cake company” cakes: Caramel Heaven and Chocolate Brownie. They were a welcomed treat.
