Purchased in Asda. A really simple prepared mix, to which you add milk (soya milk for me!) and egg (Egg Replacement for me!). Makes a fairly smooth light coloured paste which is then cooked as per regular Yorkshire Puddings. Of course, using soya milk and egg replacement product meant my end result is a very pale Yorkshire pudding: almost white but crunchy and tasty. (Maybe with the colour, the first ones out of the oven seemed to taste like prawn crackers and were a little soft after 25 minutes so they were put back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Took around 40 minutes to cook. Even frozen some of them for another roast meal.
Would expect a darker colour if you use regular cows milk and real eggs. The main ingredients are Cassava flour, potato flour, maize flour, salt and natural flavour.
Look out for my Toad-in-the-Hole which I will try and make shortly!
