Product Review: Gluten Free Cheese Bread Rolls (or Pao de Queijo from the local Farmers Market)

Pao De Queijo Cheese bread

Found at the local Farmers Market (http://www.lfm.org.uk/markets/parsons-green/) held every Sunday at New Kings School on the New King’s Road at a stall selling pasta and bread. They offer Gluten Free options as well as regular products.

The Cheese bread rolls originate as a breakfast food in Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay and Northern Argentina using cheese and manioc starch (hence no GLUTEN!). They are sold in bags of 6 or 12 pieces and stay fresh for approximately 1 week. These are light bread rolls with a strong cheddar flavour.
