Restaurant Review: Wagamama’s (Gluten Free) lunch, Ealing Broadway,London.

Wagamama's allergy information

At Wagamama’s they are able to cater for all types of Food Allergies as they present their customers with a thick binder with lots of information. It is quite overwhelming as in addition to reviewing the regular menu, to be safe and sure, you have to check the individual ingredients listed out in individual dishes and check whether it can be removed or changed. I think, whilst it is very useful to have all this data, it does become confusing.

I ordered the Chicken & Prawn Cha Han which I had reviewed through the allergy listing. The waitress confirmed it as a good GLUTEN FREE choice but returned after the Kitchen had advised that the dish comes with a breaded chicken which would not be suitable. They suggested that this could be changed to a un-breaded chicken, which was all that was needed to make my choice GLUTEN FREE.  After this small distraction, my dinner arrived after a short wait and so hungry and excited, I forgot to take a picture of my meal.

It was tasty with a good mix of chicken and juicy prawns in a savoury rice mix and of course, GLUTEN FREE!
