As I am Lactose Intolerant, I do miss (Cow’s milk) cheese so was excited when I saw the Buffalo Milk Cheese on sale at the local Farmers Market. (Parsons Green on Sunday mornings http://www.lfm.org.uk/markets/parsons-green/ ).

The cheese I bought was flavoured with garlic and parsley and had a strong pungent smell. The garlic was dense and added to the creaminess of the buffalo milk cheese. I enjoyed this on my toast and used it to make a white cheesy sauce for a home-made lasagne:
