Product Review: Sausage Rolls (Gluten Free & Wheat Free) by DS-Gluten Free

DS Sausage Rolls

Purchased in Asda (Click & Collect from Roehampton, London).  In packs of 2, wrapped individually in cellophane and frozen. Require heating in oven for 25 to 28 minutes at 200 degree centigrade.

I brushed mine with milk before they went into the oven and maybe in my haste, left them in for another 10 minutes to colour up.  Actually it made the pastry like a biscuit although there still was flakiness in the heated product. They are sized in between a jumbo sausage roll and a mini sausage roll but one is probably not quite enough unless you serve it with some salad or something else. The meat filling is very smooth and tasty. It has been ground to a consistent texture with no bits in it! A good GLUTEN FREE snack!
