Made by “PROPER LOVE” and received as part of the “Crate of Nothing” March parcel. It is gluten free snack which I was excited to try. It comes in quite a small bag of 20 grams but unlike some other popcorn products, there were no unopened kernels in the bag nor any collection of bits at the bottom. The flavour has a strong kick (the chilli) which is pleasant and warming. Given the spicy flavour, the small bag was ample although pop corn is not a filling product. What do you expect for 96 calories!
There are other flavours available: lightly sea salted, sour cream & chive and sweet & salty. http://www.propercorn.com/our-popcorn
In reviewing the Ingredients, I was alarmed that it contained Malt Vinegar as well as Yeast Extract. These are two items which I have been actively avoiding due to them containing GLUTEN. I emailed the company to confirm that these ingredients did not make the Pop Corn “with Gluten” and they promptly replied:
“Many thanks for getting in touch. I can confirm that our FW&ST is suitable for those following a gluten free diet & our malt vinegar & yeast extract are within the safe limit.”
I can confirm that I did NOT adversely react to this product which is a good thing!
My March “Crate of Nothing” parcel contained a good selection of GLUTEN FREE and DAIRY FREE foods. These items are reviewed individually on my blog. They provide me with a novel way of trying new and exciting foods knowing my food allergies are catered for at £20 per month. It is a mystery what arrives!
“I can confirm that I did adversely react to this product which is a good thing!”
Is there a not missing from that sentence?

Yes! Thanks for Spotting! I didn’t react to them and really liked them as an alternative snack.
