Product Reviews, Restaurant Reviews and Recipes: All GLUTEN FREE!
A rather strange snack which would probably suit an Astronaut! The bag is tightly sealed as you would expect and once opened, the hard odd pieces of the mango are revealed. They look like “chips” rather than a fruit and have a strange texture, not at all soft. Once in the mouth, your own salvia softens the fruit pieces and it melts in your mouth. A fun snack which I really loved. According to the packaging, this is Nut free (obviously), GLUTEN FREE and DAIRY FREE.
Online I discovered this was an American snack food with a wide range of freeze-dried fruits. Looks exciting although cant see how I can purchase in the UK as yet. Hopefully, I can enjoy another “frozen” fruit from my Saviour Snack Box.
Saviour Snacks send out a mystery box of goodies on a regular basis. I have opted for the fortnightly Gluten Free box at £15 with ten full size snacks included which means I get to try different foods which are not necessarily widely available at the moment. They also have an unrestricted box (Ultimate Box), Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options. Each box comes with a detailed listing which outlines the allergy information for individual products. http://www.savioursnacks.com/
