Product Review: Brazil Nut & Cherry Paleo Bar by The Primal Kitchen

Brazil Nut & Cherry Paleo Bar

An interesting savoury bar which is surprisingly quite heavy. Packed full of (Brazil) nuts and cherries (amongst the usual dates and some almond oil) it is a filling snack which can be eaten on the go. The cherries provide some sweetness to the meatiness of the nuts but even in the small bar size, I found it hard work to eat, as it did seem a heavy “bar” but it is GLUTEN FREE, WHEAT FREE, EGG FREE and DAIRY FREE.

According to the website: ” Our grain-free bars are made with 100% real food, food you were born to eat. We don’t use dried fruit that contains vegtable oils, sugar or sulphites as commonly found in other snack products. All our bars are made with 4-5 real food ingredients. They are hand made and cold pressed (not heated) here in the UK.” http://www.theprimalkitchen.co.uk/

The full range includes Almond & Cashew Paleo Bar  and Coconut & Macadamia Paleo Bar.
