Product Reviews, Restaurant Reviews and Recipes: All GLUTEN FREE!
A beautiful part-baked pair of small focaccia breads which are GLUTEN FREE made by “Focaccia Per Tutti“. This product requires a quick ten minutes in the oven (at 190 Degrees Centigrade) before enjoying it. It is very doughy bread (like bread should be); which is delightful and has a light airy texture. It has tasty toppings which add to the flavours of each mouthful: (red onions, tomatoes, garlic, black olives, extra virgin olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper).
This was received as part of my May 2014 “Crate of Nothing” which included a selection of GLUTEN FREE foods which were winners in the FreeFrom Food Awards. The overall winning of the FAIR Trophy for the best free-from food in 2014 was this Focaccia, and now I have tasted it, I know why.
“Crate of Nothing” send a monthly box of GLUTEN FREE products for £20 with a selection of products and ingredients (with recipe) to make something delightful. In the May box, there is a recipe for Gluten Free Cheesy Scones (which I have yet to make!). Previous recipes from “Crate of Nothing” which I have tested and made include Chocolate Brownies and Bread Sticks .
