Loving GLUTEN FREE Christmas Chocolates: Chocolate Coins, Chocolate Santas and Chocolate Figurines (December 2015)…

You can’t fill a stocking without Chocolate Coins, Chocolate Santas and Chocolate Figurines: many of them GLUTEN FREE or made with no GLUTEN CONTAINING INGREDIENTS (and no stated warnings or “may contain”).

As Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year (after Advent Calendars, Halloween, Easter and Valentines). And this year (2015), surprised to see so many GLUTEN FREE Options already in the shops. This blog post includes…

  • Chocolate Coins, Chocolate Santas and Chocolate Figurines for sale for Christmas 2015.
  • Largely items which I have found in the shops and held in my hand (so I can examine the Ingredients & allergen Information).
  • Pictures of the items (with ingredients showing) and typed out where it is particularly difficulty to read).
  • Includes Chocolate Coins by The CO-OPerative, Sainsburys, Tescos, Selfridges, Waitrose and M&S with links to websites with all warnings.
  • Includes Chocolate Santas by Kinder, The CO-OPerative, Thorntons, Poundworld, Harrods and Belfine (in Clinton Cards).
  • And Seasonal Figurines in Chocolate by Cadburys, Mars, Kinder, M&S, Holland & Barrett (including Cocoalibre, Plamil and Montezuma’s), ASDA, Hotel Chocolat, Thorntons, Lakeland, Poundworld and The CO-OPerative with links to Manufacturers /Producers websites with Warnings highlighted including “may contain… notices“.
  • Updated with products from Fortnums & Mason (Chocolate Coins x1 and Chocolate Figurines x3) and Waitrose (Chocolate Coin x1)  on 17/12/15.
  • Others are available but I like to see them for myself before I include them in my review.

It is accurate at the time of publishing (December 2015) but manufacturers do change their mixes so you should always read the labels before you put anything in your mouth and enjoy! It’s your own responsibility to remain GLUTEN FREE.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Other GLUTEN FREE Chocolate products are available (but check the labels for the Ingredients and any warnings the Manufacturers place on them).
  • Supermarkets offer their own-label Chocolate Bars, some of which are GLUTEN FREE but read the labels. (For example: M&S produce a monthly GF listing and provide specific information for Coeliacs).
  • No money, samples or freebies have been provided by any of the featured Manufacturers.
  • This information was correct as of DECEMBER 2015. The links should take you to relevant manufacturer’s pages where the latest information should be available.

If you are a member of Coeliac UK, they produce a comprehensive directory which covers over 16,000 food and drink items (including GLUTEN FREE Chocolate Bars). And at Christmas, they produce a highlights sheet which outlines key products.  This is available in a paper-based Manual and online FREE to members of Coeliac UK.
