Product Reviews, Restaurant Reviews and Recipes: All GLUTEN FREE!
Cambridge Nutraceuticals have launched a Pill made primarily of Chocolate. After the European Union approved the nutrient as a medicinal food in January 2017, a new pill has been developed containing Flavanol (in it’s purest form which is extracted from Cocoa).
It is reported that Chocolate can help in “maintaining the elasticity of blood vessels” as “even slightly elevated blood pressure in midlife is linked to increased risk of heart disease, stroke and dementia”. In addition, it is stated that “Flavanols and some other dietary polyphenols likely confer benefits that current antihypertensives do not” although it is recognised that the same benefits can be obtained from eating 400 grams of Dark Chocolate (which I probably already do). Unfortunately, this amount of chocolate can contain an amazing 2,429 calories which is quite a lot!
And remember I love my Chocolate Bars, Chocolate Bags and Chocolate Boxes, my Chocolate Easter Eggs from Chocolatiers and Chocolate manufacturers, High Street Stores and London Department Stores and more recently, my Valentine Chocolates.

But as I am learning, ingredients do change and therefore you should always read the label and check for yourself whether it is GLUTEN FREE or not!
